Unbundled Family Law Services

When you have a family law issue but don’t want, or can’t afford, to hire a lawyer for traditional representation unbundled or limited scope family law services are the answer.

Whether you are dealing with divorce, child custody, child support, parenting time, or post decree motions if you choose to move forward without a lawyer, unbundled or limited scope family law services can provide peace of mind and prevent you from making mistakes during the process.  Unbundled or limited scope family law services can provide coaching on the legal process and your options, review of documents before you sign anything, or drafting of necessary legal documents.

For uncontested family law matters (where both parties are in agreement and working together) unbundled or limited scope services can provide a streamlined process. For contested family matters (where the parties do not have a complete agreement and are not working together) unbundled or limited scope services can provide a party with much needed legal assistance that they may not otherwise receive.

Available Unbundled Family Law Services

Laser Focus Session
The Laser Focus Session is designed to provide an attorney’s analysis and advice on a single issue of your matter. This includes one session (in person, by phone, or online) of up to one hour and advice or analysis on a single issue. The perfect option for when you just need advice on one question.
$150.00
Coaching Session
A Coaching Session is designed to help a Pro Se individual prepare for a court hearing, mediation, Early Neutral Evaluation, or other stage of the process. This includes one session (in person, by phone, or online) of up to two hours and coaching on process, strategy, or other aspects of representing yourself.
$300.00
Document Review Session
If you have prepared your own court documents, or have received documents from the other party or their attorney, a Document Review Session can make sure everything is in order. This includes the review of a document and feedback on its form and content. Edits to the document are NOT included.

Complete Uncontested Divorce with Minor Children
If parties with minor children have a complete agreement on all issues in their divorce, they can proceed with an uncontested divorce. This includes a planning session to confirm the details of your agreement, the preparation the documents necessary for your divorce, and a coaching session on how to file with the court and finalize your divorce.
$750.00
Complete Uncontested Divorce without Minor Children
If parties without minor children have a complete agreement on all issues in their divorce, they can proceed with an uncontested divorce. This includes a planning session to confirm the details of your agreement, the preparation the documents necessary for your divorce, and a coaching session on how to file with the court and finalize your divorce.

Uncontested Initial Custody and Parenting Time Matter
For the unmarried parents of minor children who have a complete agreement on all issues related to the custody, parenting time, and child support of their children. This includes a planning session to confirm the details of your agreement, the preparation the documents necessary for your court action, and a coaching session on how to file with the court.

Stipulation or Proposed Order
Includes the drafting of a Stipulation (if there’s an agreement between the parties) or Proposed Order (if there is no agreement) as well as a a coaching session on how to file with the court.

Initial Family Law Pleadings
Includes the drafting of the Petition and related documents as well as a a coaching session on how to file with the court.
$350.00
Initial Responsive Pleadings
Includes the drafting of an Answer and Counter Petition and related documents as well as a a coaching session on how to file with the court.

Motion or Responsive Motion
Includes the drafting of your Motion or Responsive Motion and supporting Affidavit, as well as a a coaching session on how to file with the court and prepare for your motion hearing.
$425.00
Trial Preparation Session
Includes two coaching sessions to prepare for your trial. We will identify the information and evidence you will need to present at trial, prepare an outline of the issues, and discuss what to expect at trial.

Qualified Domestic Relations Order
Includes the drafting of a Qualified Domestic Relations Order for a retirement plan that was divided in your divorce decree, as well as a a coaching session on how to file with the court and submit to the plan.
